About Us

Reimagining Waste Infrastructure for a Cleaner, Smarter Future

At Space for Waste, we believe that waste storage should be more than just functional, it should be safe, hygienic, sustainable, and seamlessly integrated into the spaces where people live, work and gather. We're here to transform the standard of waste infrastructure across the UK.

As regulations evolve and expectations rise, we design and deliver smart, durable bin housing solutions that help councils, housing associations, developers, schools, healthcare providers, and commercial organisations create cleaner, compliant and user-friendly waste environments.

World and environment

What we do

We manufacture high-quality, British-designed bin enclosures that meet the growing demand for:

  • Food waste segregation in line with upcoming UK legislation
  • Secure, enclosed storage to minimise fire risk, odours and contamination
  • Stream-specific labelling and signage to reduce cross-contamination
  • Sustainable, visually appealing units that elevate public and shared spaces

Our product range includes housing for wheelie bins from 120L to 1280L, available in a variety of finishes, sizes and configurations, designed to work across all sectors and site types.

Why it matters

From 31 March 2026, all local authorities in England must provide separate food waste collection to households, and all businesses with more than 10 employees must store food waste separately. These changes will impact thousands of organisations, and the infrastructure to support them must be in place.

We’re here to help public and private sector clients get ahead of the curve. Whether you're rolling out waste reforms across a borough, upgrading a care facility, or specifying for a new housing development, we offer regulation-ready, compliant solutions that combine performance with long-term value.

Built on manufacturing quality

Our products are designed and built in the UK using UK and EU-sourced steel, by a facility accredited to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards. This ensures consistent quality, sustainability, and safety in every unit we supply. With advanced fabrication, powder coating and rigorous testing, our units are engineered to perform in even the most demanding environments.

Sustainability at our core

From product design to materials and logistics, we prioritise sustainability at every step. Many of our units are made using recycled or recyclable materials, and optional green roof systems allow you to enhance biodiversity while improving the look of communal waste areas.

We’re also committed to helping our clients meet net-zero and ESG objectives through better waste infrastructure.
