As part of its commitment to improving estate management, Havering Council recently upgraded the bin storage facilities at a residential block in East London. Working in partnership with Space for Waste, the council selected the 1280L wheelie bin housing to provide a long-term solution that improves hygiene, deters fly-tipping, and supports compliant waste management.

Like many local authorities, Havering Council is under growing pressure to improve waste infrastructure in line with tightening UK legislation. The site in question, a mid-sized residential block, faced a number of common issues:
